Cymbals Eat Guitars - Why There Are Mountains
Oh damn, this is pretty great. I hate to sound like an elitist prick (though I kinda am one), but I don't want to like this: It's not noisy. It's not lo-fi. There isn't any electronic influence. No shoegaze influence either. But damn if this isn't good. Really catchy/fun straight up, Pavement influenced, Weezer inspired indie-rock.
They're playing NYC April 19th @ Public Assembly. I'm definitely there.
